Centrul organizează anual Conferința Internațională Theories of Change in Digital Wellbeing, eveniment recunoscut de Colegiul Psihologilor din România.

Center of  Research Development and Innovation in Psychology (CCDIP) operates within the “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, with the primary goal of promoting interdisciplinary research in the field of psychology. CCDIP explores the relationship between digital media use and quality of life, having initiated its activities in January 2021. The center brings together researchers from various fields such as psychology, educational sciences, sociology, engineering, management and economics, creating a complex platform for innovation and collaboration.

The main research themes focus on digital wellbeing, defined as a state in which subjective wellbeing is maintained in a technology-dominated environment. Individuals who achieve digital wellbeing manage their digital media consumption in a way that fosters comfort, safety, and personal fulfillment. The center addresses both the positive aspects and the challenges associated with technology use, exploring methods by which people can maximize their potential in daily life through a harmonious balance between technology and quality of life.

CCDIP conducts research projects along two main directions: analyzing how individuals interact with digital media and its impact on their subjective wellbeing, as well as developing solutions aimed at supporting young people and adults in improving their digital wellbeing.

The center annually organizes the International Conference Theories of Change in Digital Wellbeing, an event recognized by the Romanian College of Psychologists. Conference papers are published in WOS-indexed journals and book chapters recognized by UEFISCDI in category A1.
